The #RightToActCampaign is an initiative of the PERSON project, funded by the European Commission. The PERSON project involves a group of civil society organisations in the Balkans and Turkey who advocate for the right to legal capacity for people with intellectual and psychosocial (mental health) disabilities on an equal basis with others.

You can read more about the right to legal capacity (or, the ‘right to act’).

Or read more about the PERSON project, including having a look at our website and contacting our national partners.

While the ‘Right to Act’ campaign comes from an initiative based in the Balkans and Turkey – we want to spread the message of this campaign globally. If you are interested in the human rights of people with disabilities – and want to support the rights of people with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities to make their own decisions – please get involved in our campaign. Find out more about how you can contribute.
